The most famous honey from Wadi Duan in Hadramaut, Yemen. Limited stocks of this fine honey is available annually. Beekeepers harvest this rare Sidr honey from the tabletop mountains of Wadi Duan from the wild Sidr trees in a 40 day window during the winter months.

We traverse 300km into the desert and a days hike up the tabletop mountains of Wadi Du'an where we harvest the wild honey from small cell bee hives.

Sumar
One of our top sellers, the Sumar honey comes from the flowers of the desert acacia which originates in Grayo Hadramaut direct from the valleys of our pastures. This is the same tree that produces gum Arabic (Sumagh) which is famous for its blood pressure and hypertension lowering properties.

Sidr
Sidr honey comes from Ziziphus Jujube as it is also known has a wonderful aroma and it has a distinct flavour. With a citrus palate and slightly sweeter than the Bagheyah Sidr, this honey also has anti-inflammatory, anti-pyretic, anti-bacterial and analgesic properties.
Our beekeepers harvest this Sidr honey from the wild mountains of Wadi Ali Wadi or Duan While it has an exquisite texture and a uniqueness in viscosity, the honey also exudes a floral tone and the texture is buttery smooth. This honey has a rich and lavish consistency.

Marais
A delightful and inexpensive version of the Yemen organic honey, the Marais honey is harvested from bees that get their nectar from the various Sidr, Sumar and other wildflowers throughout the year. We harvest this from our own land as well.
Depending on seasons and the flowers, its taste varies. It is a lighter golden color and is not nearly as thick in terms of viscosity of any of our Yemeni honey collection, but it packs nutrients and is smooth to taste. It is our sweetest honey ever.
This is a great everyday sugar substitute and makes a great drizzle for pastry,spread on toast or even wonderful on yogurt.
